I am an artist, painter, and creative entrepreneur living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I moved to North Carolina in 1993 to attend the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.  I have since raised two amazing kids and have enjoyed living in Raleigh for many years. In 2010, I founded and owned HEAT, an interval training studio in downtown Raleigh.  I sold HEAT in 2016 yet it remains a downtown staple to many in the area. My roots are still deeply planted in downtown as my art studio is located on the same block in Glenwood South on Lane Street.  Spending significant portions of my life in DC, Miami, and New York has influenced my approach to design and art. My work is inspired by a deep connection to color and the world around me which is expressed either by way of painting on canvas or design within the home or business. It brings me ultimate joy when others find beauty and connect to my work.

TESTIMONIALS

“The Sun Will Rise, Tomorrow” - an abstract piece created by Robin - hangs prominently in my home as a reminder that through art one can always have a connection; visually mentally and spiritually.

Through many eyes we have starred, this masterpiece allows continual discovery of visual elements ; a T-Rex, a Lady dancing to the Salsa and an eruption of color breaking through to signify that a new day has begun - all while engaging in conversations “ can you see her?” - “can you see it”- “ can you….? YES YES and YES!

The layers of color, texture and sheer size bring this canvas to life!

Robin’s artwork is throughout our penthouse condo. The premiere piece in the living room dances color and light. At different times of day the blues pop through the layers, in the evening light the reds and the oranges rise. From all angles; a landscape, a rolling sea, a kaleidoscope...always a unique vision. What do you see? What do you feel? Each set of eyes it is a personal vision. In our office 3 unique pieces line the walls. Creating a beautiful tapestry to inspire productivity and peacefulness.
